Another Random

I recently read about the more you think you are funny when writing something, the less your reader would appreciate your brand of humor. I can't remember what article or where did it come from but the title was this: "They Laughed So Hard, They Hit The Delete Button" or something along that line.

Did it come from The Sun? Hmm.

My dad's birthday is coming soon. Sister wants to treat him to a fancy lunch/dinner. Any ideas for nice non-seafood restaurants under RM 20 per person below? Somewhere quiet please. It's Labour Day after all. :)

I am so into movies now!

Or at least into movie reviews. We are all sitting in class and talking nothing else but the three upcoming big blockbusters....Spiderman 3...



Then we will have Pirates of Carribean 3...



And at the end of the month we have Shrek 3...



Movies ....!

Not that I can watch all of them on cinema anyway. Gah. I'll probably have to wait till the seats are cold and box office are closing....or when the DVD comes out...or someone downloads it...(haha). Tak syok ler watch with so many people..especially when they sms in the dark...



SO IRRITATING...

I kena during me watching LOTR: ROTK. I'm almost like.. "wtf.." but of course in a nicer way of putting things. Sherry would probably whisper that to me if she was there. All these people don't know how to appreciate movies and watch them with cinematography. I don't care whether you watch it ten thousand times. C'mon! It's Lord of the Rings: Return of the King!

Felt like slapping them on the head when people do that. Receiving calls during the session is a little irritating but still tolerable cause you don't need to bear the lighted panel. As long they don't laugh and talk so loud like the DiGi advert guy.



If such a person is present during the movie, either I change seats to be far far far away from him or if I am really pissed off, I'll just take the phone away and throw it someplace where he will never find it.


So cruel, me. Hehe.

Memorial

This is a late memorial, but it's a memorial anyway.

I don't know anyone there in Virginia, but I've heard of the names.

It's sad that an incident like Columbine should happen again.



Let's just pray that nothing happens like that again.


Edit: Please don't blame the Koreans. They are as shocked as we are.

Competition

It's either I'm fighting for something or nothing.

I can be so so so so competitive sometimes.

So, is it okay to be kiasu (scared-to-lose)?

I should move down to Xin-Jia-Po like that. Hahaha.

And I also want to watch movie. With caramel popcorn and all that.



Preferably not so cold though. It's almost entering Narnia. We have to wear something thick. Well, at least I do.

Of Friends, Korean and Mysteries (A Subject Without A Title)

I was studying a great deal of Korean language for the past few weeks. Thence, the lack of blogging.

Anyway, regarding to my earlier post about reflections on friendship and porridges, I found out again that it actually does take two to do the tango.

Always try to save the friendship. Never presume that the friend is the one deserting you. You may have welcomed the loneliness yourself.

So, most importantly, is to laugh at your own jealousy towards your friend. If close enough, just admit it. Probably you'll two would be stronger friends. Of course, I'm not sure if guys actually admit that they are jealous of one another and laugh like boys. Maybe they don't. "I'm a man. I don't laugh like girls."

Yeah, yeah. Whatever. :)

Got another new book today! Yeah, on a reading spree. Must cut down on Internet time. Almost can't live without it.

I'm also starting to write another story. Though I have not finished with my mystery yet, but I'll be sailing along. I believe I can twist the story so much that you would get sick at it and say, "I'm getting nauseous." Oh well. Never know until you tried it. Yeah?

Since no Korean read my blog...(at least I presume so. If you are a Korean or speak fluently in the language, please leave a comment. At least you can coach me on how to structure a sentence at every way...should we say 'how' first or 'do we go' or 'from here'?)...can't say something simple yet fantastic to the ears eyes of non-Korean speakers.

Yes, the more languages you learn, the less you will be showing off. Unless you want to scold someone.
