It was a really interesting morning. Sitting in a real hot hall with two yakking friends next to me, I could pick up bits and pieces of my life. I got to find out who is this guy that I was curious to find out. (ehem...not admiring..very old classmate) Telling all kinds of things bout him (it'll be rude to tell them all here. Hint: Sailormoon) , I probably ignored every discipline teacher that walked past us. Li Qin called one Mister Plumber (he looks like one when teaching KH), another one Mister Ambassador (wearing a really oversized double-breasted jacket), and another Bodyguard (looked like one). Oh well...she didn't believe that Bodyguard was a teacher. Neither did I. Maybe if he wore black sunglasses and stood really still with his hands clasped in front of him like those in MIB...he could really go for auditions for the Malaysian MIB.
Oh backtrack a little...we went for Tmn SEA prefects installation. It was quite 'duh' the whole thing. Then again, not that I was a prefect before. So, I was just listening to the rantings of the latest news and "ah gua"isms...(ah gua in hokkien, a chinese dialect means transsexual person) which bio students want to show off--the XXYs...right.
After installation, went for recess. Then, kacau-ed the DJ prefects that came over for visitation. Got to know how Ooi Jin (ehem..Encik Ooi Jin) scolded the class for using pencils in doing homework. So weird...is it because the younger generation decided that bringing illegal things (i.e. liquid paper/blanko) to school was naughty after all? Oh wow. Imagine what the previous batches do. Hehhe...
Anyway, stole their food which is actually RESERVED for prefects only. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to eat extra. Besides, they have lots of leftovers. But YUCk...the mee hoon is terrible. It taste as if the chef accidentally dumped it into a tong of tea. And tea...must have gotten the effect. Practically tasteless.
Begged our MUET teacher, Pn. Harbans to bring us to the performance where the students are strictly not allowed. Gatecrashed the party. They had to interrupt for a while to ask us to leave but then they found out that we had the teacher with us. So the prefects left us somewhat indignantly. Maybe they really don't like us. Doesn't matter. My eyes grow big everytime I "encounter" a very different kind of performance...like really bad singing (excuse the pun but seriously, frankly, ask anyone, its so all out of tune...only one song only lah) Vishnu and gang had to go up to the stage with them and save their friends and their own faces...or so he claimed.
This is too long. Wait for Part 2. That's where the real stuff comes in. And what's the title all bout.

Deprived...
Ah, I can finally go online after a few days deprived of internet...oops...Hahahaha...so into streamyx. Its the broadband thingie I think...
Talking bout being deprived...just a big question?
What are you deprived of?
Today, after being so irritated and annoyed by this Vishnu in class, boy, we made a deal with him...he stop talking for two days and we will cancel his debts...
Erm...debts...Ooi Jin suddenly had this wild idea on collecting money on this game called, "40 Day Fast" No prayer though, since we are involving non-C+s...but anyway...foul words are just getting too flying around so what happens in the game is that the game player will pay 10 cents whenever a foul word is said....or coarse slang...we excluded damn good...and all those damn damn things...but not like damn it. Boy, do my friends who are used to saying all the f words and stuff like that get so stressed trying to stop it...
So, those are the debts...he complied...but now he's getting silently annoying. But the class was quite peaceful for the rest of the day when he hath not spoke.
So...what are you deprived off??????

The Trouble With Love Is...
Sigh...when you like someone and then you found out that that someone loved another...and then you see both of them together...it'll pierce your heart, especially after you have given part of your heart away. That are nearly all the plots of my short stories. I don't know why, whenever I tried to write a story it always end up as a love story. NOT sensual, just that kind of true-binding-everlasting love. Especially if you have a really sentimental song which can really make you feel..."Oh I feel--loved!" Then, your mind start to wander about your future, etc.
Well, Kelly Clarkson has a song that really speaks the title of my 2nd entry for today. It does seem painful sometimes for somebody who went through a great time with another and then find out that that special someone turned out to be "taken". THen, whenever the somebody see the special someone with another...a spark of unknown feeling just burst out. Jealous? Hurt? Joyful? I doubt the last one. I mean, come on lah...who will feel joyful? Although you tried to console yourself..."Well, maybe he/she's not the one for me. I guess I'll find a better fella/girl." But deep down, it cuts right?
Dannah Gresh said in her book "And the Bride Wore White" (I'm talking bout girls now) that many girls give their heart away too easily. I'm talking in general contacts here. Basically, the verse in Songs of Songs (which appeared 3 times: 2:7; 3:5; 8:4) was giving an advice to the girls...do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires. Gresh continues on to say that many awaken love but it doesn't desire! (It's quite a bit 'tersirat', please dig deeper) Desire here means sort of like right time and the right person. Many times we thought we found the right one but are we correct?
There was once Chia Wen quoted, "When God takes away a treasure, be sure He will give a much better one!" She was right. Time and time again when I read "Dear Thelma" in the STAR Mag section, I remember a lot of things I've read in books. E.g I Kissed Dating Goodbye by Joshua Harris, Passion and Purity by Elisabeth Elliott, For Such A Time As This by Lisa Ryan and the one I've mentioned earlier by Dannah Gresh. (still got a lot more, but that's all I can think of now)
For many times, I believe most girls would just love to take their heart out and throw it far far away...so we don't have to go through heartbreaking moments or even falling into infatuations like collecting bumper stickers. It's sad but true.
Everyone is still learning how to control their emotions and passion. If you're not, then...I really salute you!
There's one book by one amazing lady, I haven't read it yet, but the commentaries and stuff at the back are good enough to convince me. THe only sad thing is that it's not available in Malaysia. At least not yet. If you want to buy it over the net...go ahead...make sure you leave your contacts here. I want to borrow that book! Letting God Meet Your Emotional Needs by Cindi McMenamin. You can check out that book in ChristianBook.Com or Amazon.com (Amazon has bigger variety of categories, coz you can just search for the category)...there's also other really great books for girls (written by Susie Shellenberger, all for girls, cause she wrote lots for teens bout GUYS! Hahaha...) who are really sick and tired of this relationship thingie. Or you are just wondering about all these...Just go and search for relationships or singlehood...or even woman...then you'll find lots, pricey (looks cheap in US dollar) but really wonderful books. For guys...just search under men/relationship/singlehood/Christian living categories. I don't delve into books for guys...but I know that you people got your fair share of books too okay?
The trouble with love is
It can tear you up inside
Make your heart believe a lie
It's stronger than your pride
The trouble with love is
It doesn't care how fast you fall
And you can't refuse the call
See, you got no say at all

but the best one is still...1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always "me first,"
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
Love never dies.

Changed Stuff..Lala...
I really wonder...what happened to the old thingie...now Blogger lets us change our font colour. Good lah...can do some stuff with it...gray can get quite boring.
Was depressed for a few days. Was really reconsidering the path I took. Felt like quitting Form 6 and entering college. But then, what course would I take in college??
Today, I went for carnival. Boy, was it hot. I practically perspired the moment I stepped out of the car.
Met Choo Yen, Teri and Cheryl...all these three girls I haven't met for some time...really great to meet them.
I hate carnivals sometimes. Every year something would happen and I may or may not be in the center of everything. At least this year ain't so bad...just blame myself for speaking foolishly sometimes...maybe the sun was too hot. (oh yeah, blame the environment...excuses excuses)
Oh well...gonna sign off now. See you ppl another day...

Irritated, Disgusted and Depressed
I don't know if it is a thing that everyone's going through now. But I'm just very irritated with myself (despite having studied 3 hours plus plus) because I just can't seem to grasp the simple stuff about Chemistry. I don't know if it has something to do with the teacher or is it just me being totally numskulled or ignorant. Oh wow, I just remembered that I got a Chemistry Practical to do tomorrow. Oh wow.
I feel like digging out my brain and send it to some psychotic lab somewhere to upgrade the memory span. Then, I won't be stressing and stretching my brain. ARGH!!!!I so want to study less and still get better results.
I tried to stuff however much of things inside my brain. Somehow, don't talk to me about exams. I can't understand why exams have to exist. I mean, exams are fine, but why exam format have to eXiSt???!!Why can't we just write however we like to explain and for goodness sake, do we really have to follow word by word?
"Oh, class. You cannot not write that word...you won't get marks for that you know. That's the format."
Feel like giving an impalement to the stupid exam format. Because of that, we study like mad and some still can't get good results because they just missed one insignificant word. Okay, maybe some are important like sap cells and intermolecular forces. But still!?! Why can't we just write the simple, ink-saving word, "vice versa"? Why the "subsequently, if it is at low pressure..." when you have been explaining bout the high pressure for the past 12 minutes! (Okay, that was a bit exaggerating)
Irritating.
If it's not the exam format, it's me. Yeah, maybe it's the numskulled, pathetic, dumb, feebleminded-and-causes-depression..argh...

Saturday
Immersing In Cold Water (Finale)
After a night of untroubled sleep, waking up late in the morning. With a more refreshed mind, I decided that this is it.
Once more, I'm taking another chance to restart. Like my mind to reboot. I can't go on living a life of lie and self-destruction.
After screaming at God (not literally) and drop my head in desperation, I finally have my answer. Since I'm shifting soon, I know that I can start again. Hehe...when all things are new. You know.
It's still not too late to start again. After speaking to my mentor and speaking to my mentoree, I finally got my answer. The answer became so clear this morning: Don't give up and let go of the past because God is giving you a great future!
One quote: It's either you give up or you pick yourself up and run on.
I decided to pick myself up and run on. My conclusion is: Life is a bed of roses...with thorns sticking out.
So, next Monday onwards, (after kena commissioned) all the more I must set an example right? So if I'm setting a bad example...well...God help me then. I'm not worthy. And I know that I may have screw up before but I know I can start again. I know, some people say: "Yerr...this girl only become goody two shoes after she got a post..." Hello, let me clarify. I don't want to put a feather in my cap, but so far, I was always trying my best to set a good example for my juniors...like what Rev Edmund Chan say, the beautiful thing about mentoring is to climb higher with someone and showing that its okay to fail. Mentoring is leading by example, sharing the strength and the weaknesses.
That's the beautiful thing.
Of course I'll still immerse in cold water to relax and release stress, though my hair can become kinda brittle. Hahahaha...
Ask yourself this question: Are you sitting by the racetrack and cry or are you picking yourself up?
God bless.

Tuesday
Immersing In Cold Water
I feel like immersing in cold water
To have myself refreshed again
Too much things have bogged me down
Where are you?
I feel like standing on top of the hill
To have the wind blow at my face
I want to let it all go once again
Where are you?
Today I said a word I shouldn't have said but it really slipped. No, it's not the F word. But it's still a coarse slang. I really don't know why I said that...I was reading the dictionary!
Made a huge mistake on saving on an original desktop image. Now it's ruined. Oh well, I got to this website http://www.pixelgirlpresents.comwhere I got really cool desktop images.
Tomorrow I'm having Chemistry quiz. And Kerjaya quiz. Ooi Jin was so obsessed in winning it. Suddenly, I feel like not joining it.
Went for Youth Leaders' Overnight Prayer.
Had a shocking news which till now I still can't believe, but was glad in a way because I have always wanted that person out from the focus of my life. Was too distracted by him already. Anyway the shocking news is a good news. Not some life and death situation.
My mom told me my room design...my room my room. I just want to move and drive.
Driving has become a norm to me now. Though I won't say I'm so good at it.
Talk bout Overnight Prayer. Got to bond with the leaders and interns. It was fun. I forgot to bring somethings and so David took me back and forth. He was making me laugh all the way. Great friend. Jared was another one, big joker. I won't say further in case both of them reads this. Muahhahaha...
Got spiritually refreshed. Knew something better.
Got a new motto yesterday...
Favour
Conviction
Wisdom
Clarity
4 Things to pray always.
Oh well...too much stuff here...don't know how to make my priorities right now...bleh.

Friday
Thy Clocks of Never End
I should write one story about that..although I have absolute no idea what in the world would it mean. Oh well.
Got things to say, but really...I should just delete this entry.
My conclusion on people so far is: People changed. A lot. Some for better, some for worse. I'm not perfect. Nobody is. A fool is when someone speaks no wisdom. Prejudice prejudice. Life is challenging, depends on the way you look at it...people who get priorities right are really cool people. I want to be perfect. So much for the perfection statement. really, I feel stupid when I'm not perfect. Oh well...
I still remember my classmate have this HELP Institute file and there was once in Chemistry class where the teacher is absolutely confusing all of us. I lost all interest and turned to custard, which was why I kena scolded. Then my classmate took up his file and point a word for us to read (not the teacher) which really de-custardize me...guess what? He pointed, 'HELP' minus the Inst....no, I'm not against HELP students. It just brightens other people's days. No wonder HELP has Psycho courses...but some just enter HELP because they need...help...which is kinda true. They don't end up in Sunway or Taylors...but HELP...maybe its the name. BTW, HELP stands for Higher Education Learning Program...you know H.E.L.P....at least it's helpful and its nice, not like FCUK...French Connection United Kingdom...everytime I read that label, somehow the other F word just comes about into my mind...you know the Cambridge stuff bout how brains work even though the letters or the words are all jumbled up...yeah, that brand may be nice, but...er.r....FCUK???SOmemore FRENCH...in UNITED KINGDOM...ironic labels...bet they can't take sides if those two countries are arguing.
The irony bout today is that I spent the whole day listening to Stacie Orrico's (There's Gotta Be) More to Life yesterday and today...what was stuck in my mind wasn't that song..it was STUCK by her also but I have never even listen to that song for the past few days...
bye.
