The Wit & Witless Part 1

Welcome to the class of 2004/5.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
(Left 2 Right)
First row: Sherry the tortoise, Swee Leng the gadget girl, Me the hardcore director, Larry the obscene joker, our teacher, Kar Kei the smart, beautiful and sporty, May Vern the light bulb of our class who will eat Koko Krunch in class with milk da pao from home, May Ping the sweet, Meng Yit the smart, beautiful and sporty dentist-in-training
Second row: Hui Jean the studying, Xiao Yun the "Ham Che", Prema the smiling Indian teacher, Chai Kun, the bubbly whose-graphics-are-better-than-mine girl, Ei Leen the quiet, Li Qin the everything-must-be-cute, Christina the Dentyne-girl
Third row: Grace the Korean-Taiwan-absolute-fan, Wen Chung the quiet sarcastic, Ooi Jin the scarecrow with brains, Siu Fai the random quote sleepy, Vishnu the Shakespere rocker, Kean Sheng the 'eligible' and kacauing bachelor, and Seow Hui, the girl who would buy Carera pen for me. *beamin XD

I would talk more about 6 Seroja in 2005, cause in 2004, everyone is still getting to know each other, we weren't that much bonded yet. We were still clique-ish because DJ ppl sat with DJ ppl and so on.

Mind you, my CD choke full of pictures are with Brian now, so I only can upload the limited range.

Reason why 6 Seroja has more pictures compared to 5 Cengal...it's because digital cameras were much cheaper and many of us have digi cams...but most of the pics here were taken with Sony Cybershots, courtesy of Kar Kei and Nick. Besides, we are quite a bunch of people who like to camwhore.

EVENTS...

Note: Not in chronological order. All in random, because I don't really remember which came first.

We all wanted to study real hard so that we can get As for our STPM. (READ: wanted)

And yes, I was still copying Maths homework..hahaha. Okaylah, not really to the extend of copying fully. I needed to understand. But me being lazy, so I always just don't bother to practice my Maths. Thank God I passed in the real thinG!

Lee Hom came to Malaysia after for a VERY VERY long time and naturally, some girls in class are very excited and all wanted to go. Which some did and they were really green-eyed because of him hugging a girl for a very long time. That girl won't be bathing for the next one year, I reckon. She may even make a perfume label out of it.."Hugging Lee Hom". Haha.

Kean Sheng became the notorious "Siu Ye" which means "young master" in Cantonese, because he is the richest in class and the most "eligible" bachelor among the seniors.

We all joined in the STAR NIE Best Newspaper competition because all of us including my teacher want to go Melbourne or at least just eat lots and lots of free pizza. I still remember we would simply do four draft newspapers just to eat in Pizza Hut. Wey, free Pizza you know. 4 some more. The only thing we needed to pay is garlic bread and drinks and other extra stuff..

We all dissected rats during Biology class. I have mentioned this before sometime ago. Some of us must have breathed in too much of the formalin till gone a bit nuts. I dissect my rat in a 45 degrees angle and my Bio teacher was saying, "Eh, this should be the way." So the medical examiners should get 45 degrees autopsy tables. Problem is, they have to pin those dead people down. Siu Fai named his rat 'Ryan'...and Kean Sheng with a few others decided to play with the brain and tail...quite grotesque but I really think it's the formalin.

We had to come up with an English drama which was still my pride and joy success. Small, but meaningful. Less props compared to my Form 5 drama and more drama. Kean Sheng acted as Ryan (not Siu Fai's rat) and Larry acted as his retarded brother. A story of how an alcoholic's son who turned into an alcoholic who found out that his whole life was a lie in the end...but it was too late. He died. Yeah, melodrama whatever, but the twist was GOOD. Ask any Serojans. Hahaha. It was so cool that we got number 1 and Larry got Best Actor award. Of course I would brag about my own drama.

The quote of the year was: "SS: Syok Sendiri"

When the lower 6 came in for their orientation, we all had fun making fun of them. I realised that the lower 6 couldn't sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb"...it was SO odd to find out that one batch of people who are younger than us just couldn't remember the lyrics to Mary Had A Little Lamb. Or maybe my batch was just too childish. Haha.

We had to trudge through the Form 6 Council's AGM to elect new whoevers. People in LOWER 6 Seroja (not us) were screaming and shouting in all gusto for their people. We upper six are cool people. We don't shout and scream and what-nots. But we did boo at the lower 6s...saying "SYOK SENDIRI.." because only one or two out of many Seroja candidates got the posts.

We had a new classroom thanks to Pn. Harbans our English teacher. So we had nice floors which we wanted to all wear soft slippers into the classroom instead of shoes just to keep the floor clean but after a few months, everyone just got lazy and the shoes are back in fashion. And we have air conditioning too.

Siu Fai, Vishnu, Sherry and Li Qin and Vishakan (class of 2004) won the HELP Law Olympiad and they were so boasting about it. Then, in 2005, Siu Fai, Vishnu, Sherry, Li Qin and Kin Hoe? went again in confidence that they will win. They never did. The title became the lower 6s. So much for boasting.

Ooi Jin, Sherry, Li Qin and I went for Kuiz Kerjaya (Career Quiz) competition in both 2004 and 2005. In 2005 however, we won the State level because of experience. It was just a pity there isn't a national level. If not, our GERKO marks would have been much higher.

The obscene jokes among the class just got worse and worse. Never a day where Larry (the main culprit) shoots out something grotesque and it was funny but sick. Then people like Ooi Jin catch on.

Kean Sheng learned a few Indian words from Prema and started shooting it around. Non-indian speaking people like us are all just irritated and confused whenever he uses his "secret weapon".

Guang Liang's "Tong Hua" was the hit then. Everyone is learning how to sing it.

Our Bachelor was being stalked all the time. Some even wrote his name on the stop sign just outside our school, saying "Kean Sheng is so handsome!" And girls from his class (means: us) just laughed and laughed. Got one fella even wrote his name and phone number on the telephone pole.

Malaysian Idol was the hit. Nobody liked Daniel except people like Sherry, who was madly in love with him.

We had the worst haze in all the years. It was so awful that the sky looks yellow everyday and you can't see anything more than 10 meters in front of you. It was bad until school had to be closed and those afternoon session kids have to go back, with fresh uniform and all. It was so bad that even CNN had to report it. And some people are still smoking. What.

CLEO magazines were in the house. Every month, Swee Leng would bring it to class and many of us would read it...yes, including guys.

We have only 7 guys but somehow they don't feel all that inferior. Maybe because they are real loud.

Although U6Seroja is quite noisy but we usually score the best in school, because we have people like Kar Kei, Meng Yit, Ooi Jin and a few more.

Siu Fai always sleeps in class. ALWAYS.

Xiao Yun was called "Ham Che" (Pervert sister) and the nickname still stuck until today.

Kean Sheng's Wira got smashed by a Alam Flora Garbage Truck. No joke here.

QUOTES...

Note: Some are really off and some you wouldn't understand provided you are one of us. No offence to those being mentioned. Be proud that I remember you for your quotes, especially Siu Fai.

Sherry: Oh yeah, last time Langkawi got snakes one.

Sherry (to SF): You are all muscle and no brain.
*pause
Siu Fai: The brain is not a muscle.

Pn. Shirley: I'm thrilled to bits.
Siu Fai: Bits of what?

Sherry (to KS): Eh, dear, (topic of conversation goes in here)...
Kean Sheng: (turns around and point) Don't call me dear ah.

Kar Kei: (paraphrased) Girls all outside the class likes this two guys (Siu Fai & Kean Sheng) but the girls in our class just find them totally unlike-able.

Larry/Ooi Jin (to Sherry): You're a girl meh? I thought you're a guy.

Siu Fai (to Sherry): You can drive meh? After you cannot see what's in front of you? (cause she's short)

Li Qin (to Sherry): Yeerrr, why you like Aragorn? Dirty man. Never uses shampoo.

Swee Leng (to Siu Fai): Don't touch my hair. You can touch anywhere but my hair.

To tell you the whole truth, I cannot really remember many quotes..and I didn't blog about them. What. Sigh. So, please...people like Chai Kun, OJ and Sherry, enlighten me. Sherry, tell me of the quotes that I say.

Then we will go with Part2.

Brave

Okay, another Chinese post. But I'm sharing a song...by Guang Liang, written by him lah. Sang firstly by Fish Leong and still remain one of my favorite songs.

To love mean to take risk.

Translation (direct):
I finally made the decision
I don't care what others say
But you must be sure too

I'm willing to go anywhere with you
I know it's not going to be easy
I keep on consoling myself
I am just afraid that you suddenly want to quit

Love really needs courage
To face all kinds of rumors
As long as you are confident
My love would be meaningful
We all need to be brave
To believe that we will be together
Amidst the crowd I can still feel you
Your true self placed in my hand (something like that lah.)

If I am too stubborn
And it hurts you accidentally
Can you please gently remind me
Although I may be agitated
But I would be even more afraid to lose you

Yeah, basically the meaning is something like that. Then again, never never change Chinese to English, sounds so odd. Like the song 十面埋伏 (ten-faced-hiding...hahahahha!) sang by S.H.E is a Chinese idiom...the English could be ...House of Flying Daggers...hahaha...yeah, its the Zhang Zi Yi and Takeshi whatever-his-name-was...show by the same name in Chinese. And 183 Club's 感情线 (Line of Emotion/Affection) is translated as Affective Line..(what.) so...you can call it lost in translation ler.

Don't say 'Sarang' to Malay speakers though if you want to profess love to them...'cinta' is good enough. Korean may be love, but in Malay it means bird's nest. So...unless they know Korean lah. :)

Talking about 'Sarang'...this Malaysian Today, some local fun paper...really annoyed me. They did a coverage on 8TV's Summer Live Concert which I also did a 'coverage' ... and the one that irked me was the part where they talked about JJ's 'girlfriend' on stage and guess what the song name became?

"Sha La Hei Yo Only To You.."

What is 'sha la hei yo'?

The rest of the translation is alright because it's correct..but at least do some research before you write lah. There are Koreans in Malaysia too you know.

Then there is the movie title translations...really priceless sometimes.

Tuesday

This Fella Ah...

Firstly, some update on uni. It's not boring, but it is boring. Somehow there's many things I'm learning (because I have prepared my class WAYYY earlier than the lecturers themselves.) and my course is so new that I don't have seniors. Welcome to the term, "senjun". Yes, I created it myself. Gah. And since I didn't bring my laptop, after lunch with bout 20 minutes freetime, I sat in the library, acting as if I'm on an assignment of art. So I have a pen and paper but thoughts are so blank. Curse these laptops and the dependency of Internet technologies. My summary of this week so far: It's like speaking in different tongues and expecting everyone to have the gift of interpreting it. Reason? I'm trying to be happy and super talkative like how I am in Form 6 and years before, but really...I find myself either tongue-tied or not connecting in the wavelength of the uni culture. I think I have to perform and sing a bit then only I can fit in well. Curse the populars. Gah. Bah. Pah. Arrgh. It's only the second week. I could get more friends. I hope.

Okay, uni done. Back to my sisterhood thingie a.k.a SPM year life.

So let me see...CF in 2003.

"Yo, big sister, yo!
You're the senior of the school and
You're suppose to be cool
What is your role and
Whatcha trying to mould
Live your life real loud
Yo, big sister, yo!"

Okay, we never rap in high school. I never rap or write rap lyrics, rap is not a culture then (oh yeah right Bekah, like your time was 1993 instead.). I was in DJ school, the school that is suppose to churn out disc jockeys and hip people of some sort. If ever someone very English educated ask which school I am, they probably think our classes have turntables and the students have to wear caps and go bling or something. Okay, quits with the sarcastic lameness.

CF (not Certificate of Fitness, you engineers and lawmakers..) a.k.a Christian Fellowship in DJ was one of the most official, with much access to many things when compared to other school CFs. We had the hall, the library, the Block F classes, Block G classes, the field, the park, the Block E classes, the canteen...basically, we own nearly the school with our activities. Reason? We change our venue once in a while to make people run. Fine. It's a matter of availability, get it?

Not only that, we can have speakers from outside to come and share his/her/their testimonies and preach a little about God's truth. In 2003, like mentioned last time, I was one of the seniors and big sisters. We walk with style and talk with style. Juniors all want to be like us...or at least near us.

I was not in the committee but I was before, so I have a way with the politics...nolah. I was just plain busybody. But one thing is that being a senior is quite cool, cause where you go, people have to respect you a bit like in Form 6 which I will mention in another post another time. You are as big as the teachers but they still can cane you hard on you-know-where.

I mentored a bunch of people during my senior years there, taught a few tricks and truths too. We wanted to create a website for CF...then fell so so short that the idea was defunct before the site even took place. Then we did lots of camwhoring and lots of money gone buying film...(digital cameras are still pretty expensive then.)...events, events, events. We 'tiang' every senior guy possible...we had our annual CF Camp in a very hot place in Malacca...which all of us seniors are complaining the place 'like an oven!'

Yes, seniors are great complainers.

I had a try in playing the piano in camp, other than just leading worship. Ah, talking bout leading worship...I was one of the 'pioneers' who went 'great lengths' to change the whole system and introduced new stuff...which I can't remember now. Maybe we just introduced a whole hoard of new songs. Oh well...oh, yeah, the two worship leader thing. Ah, people like Pei Wern or Christine might remember better. Then I mentored Shern Ren to lead the worship team. I mentored a few people, Keshia especially on leading worship. Don't know whether it was effective. You tell me, girl!

The seniors are all very dedicated people. We forget about our studies and stay back for afternoon session prayer meetings. That is how the bond between seniors and juniors are very much build. Amanda was perky and sanguine which attracted all the juniors like Form 1,2,3 to her. I was more serious and so the older ones come to me for all sorts of advice.

Then of course, GUYS will go to the GUYS. There is Desmond who was our vice president and Jon who was our president. It was a politically hectic year because of some glitch that happen a year ago which I continued to meddle even after the glitch. I told you I was a regular busybody. I must have drove these two nuts with my meddling. Sorry guys, should have let you all run the way you think its best with God's directions. I'm like that irritating cow that likes to ring its bell and make a havoc out of peace. :)

Then of course seniors are always teased with somebody here there...gosh, I have been the victim of too many. Till now, Wern is still teasing me.

I was the queen of quotes then during that year. My juniors could quote me like nuts till I got so shocked by their imitation. Gah.

CF guys though great, are somewhat irritating sometime. Especially when they kacau you endlessly. That's why I was queen of quotes.

We CF produces plays that are thought-provoking, that are lame-to-the-max...yes, I learned some of my basic lameness from there, and the art grows. Then Dong came and watered somemore to my system. Ha.

There are many great experiences in CF because it gather people together and really, if you take time to know the younger ones or even the older ones, you can learn much. Their faith and their stand could really surprise you sometimes and you are the one who admire them instead of the other way round.

One thing I love most about CF life is that the friends that supported you before, will continue to support you though you may not see each other, but somehow, if you are the wacky and flamboyant one, the total-serious one who might just do some crazy dance if you are very lucky to catch it in action, the graceful one, the rock-climbing one, the one who dares to lie on the canteen floor, the sarcastic one, the drummer boy, the one who will jump from the first floor down without breaking the neck, the descendant of the one who parted the Red Sea, the tall pastor...whoever the seniors were, the juniors will always remember them, like how we will remember them. Yes, we do.

Yet, if I could live my 2003 life all over again, I might just make it more colorful. But you may just disagree with me.

Now SPMers, go and study. Don't read this post any longer.

Yes, yes. I am bias in this post. So I only knew a few people. I like senior life. It's fun!

(p/s: please let me know if anything is missing. I think so too ler.)

Sunday

Blissful Day

Yes, yes. It's suppose to be one of the most blissful days of my 20 years of life. Hehe...finally officially 20! With the 2 in front. Argh...ten more years and it will be a 3 in front.

Well, apart from a few people who don't remember and just remember that it falls on a 20th of something...(now you know lah), there are the regular few of people who never cease to forget. Thank you my two dearest bros, Sherry, Wern, Leroy and especially Keshia! Wow, I didn't think you would remember. Maybe because one week later is yours huh? :)

Wanted to celebrate Nick's and Uncle Jit's birthday yesterday, but didn't manage to go for the party. Then again, don't want to gatecrash the party either.

What else?

Although I would love to have a rah rah of crazy parties and confetti, noisemakers and such, but save it for my next year lah. Ha. Or not. Well, if I finish my semester before that, you all are welcome to relieve my exam stress lah. But that's 365 days to go. Right now, I would want to stand in the corner and applaud the rest, celebrate theirs for them. It's nice to see them enjoying themselves.

The best thing during a birthday is always to have your friends with you, especially those closest...though they might forget or just being plain ignorant until that day. Ha.

Oh well, I should be quite contented. :) The very last year to enjoy teenagehood. I think. Unless uni suck my life out first and make me a professional. Haha.

Random say: Don't ever plagiarise. Do reference. I'm so gonna hate that word one day.

Friday

The Sisterhood of Travelling Maths Homework

It was the day where I excitedly say to my classmates: "WEY, did you know our class is here-here-here? YAY, no more floating class."

It was the day where the sisterhood sat together, then found out that two are a bit more 'kiasu' so to speak so they sat together, far from us. And we can't sit in fours, so I was singled out to sit with a guy. Bah.

It was the day where one very quiet Sabahan came and sat behind me. Little did I know, that he is really those 'diam-diam ubi' or 'still waters...are still noisy sometimes.'

It was the day where our teachers would say, "You all cannot afford to play already yeah? SPM year you know..."

It was the day my Form 5 year started.

Form 5. SPM. Senior of the school. Tai Ka Cheh of the school.

I had new teachers. Woo hoo! Had a stricter Bio teacher, better Maths teacher and someone else...I think.

No new classmates except that ubi who asks himself, "Why pink?" at the back of me and another sleeping pole. I mean, sleeping Poh.

Sitting next to me was Aaron who was my primary school ex-classmate. Sitting in front of me was my nephew and my northeast was the programmer-cum-Linux-'fan' Jon Tan.

And so life goes on.

Li Qin was a prefect and awfully afraid of bees. We had a plague of them during the starting weeks...someone must be as sweet as honey in the class. So in the morning, we had to stand outside the class and hope that none stings us and all will fly away. Mei Yuen even stuck a dead bee to her table one time. It was grotesque, but she loved it. So you might be thinking how in the world does Li Qin being a prefect and awfully afraid of bees got to do with it. Well, lots. She's taking care of the class next door and they have bees too. One day, she swore that there was a bee on her back because she screamed so loud the whole block could hear her. (Okay, exaggeration)
*note: sorry Li Qin, just couldn't help mentioning that. :)

Then all of us found out that our dear ubi is very good in his studies...and very very very sarcastic. AYWP is so good in arguing that both of us had endless debates. I wish I could strangle him every now and then. If he reads this blog, then he would challenge me back. "Strangle lah strangle lah..."

Then my class had the Chipsmore group. Why they are called the Chipsmore? Because now you see them, now you don't. Okay, so we don't call them that. I just thought of the name. They are the best in making noise, playing pranks, singing greetings to teachers, getting teachers stressed up, and as their namesake, the best in ponteng-ing. They play truancy at its best.

And then my class had the Chun Council. Mind you, this is an official name. Consisted of three people, occasionally have plus ones. This council talks about everything chun. They create the chun script about the Pongs, they create chun songs like "I Did it Sam's way" and some chun poems like one about one of our class's *eh-hem eligible "bachelors". One of them Chun Council is my nephew.

So, I was good in English. And probably my English teacher loves me more than anyone else. I could write creative essays (though I do think some other people one's are better) and probably that was the only thing I could write...which didn't help in Form 6. Bah. I had to relearn how to write proper essays, instead of writing them like writing a script of some sort.

My class have many eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. Eligible here means wanted. Seniors are usually sought after by juniors. Juniors, especially Form 1s will always think Form 5s are so so hot. They are classy and they are popular. Those who are less than that category are just PLAIN..like me.

Okay, so I was popular in my own circle too. I was serious all the time, so my juniors are scared of me.

As Form 5s, we break rules, we keep them. We get caught by Mr. XX for no apparent reasons and sometime maybe the guy has more hair than him. We don't know why he punish us for what he punish us for, but oh well, nobody liked him much.

My class, though being a pure science class, was the noisest of all. Balau was quiet, Batai was dead silent, and Belian was way smart. Okay, so that has nothing to do with the level of sound but I wouldn't really know cause they are one floor below us. Teachers from other classes had to come and scold us Cengalians for being so noisy which we take pride in. But we suck really in our academics in comparison to the rest which causes the headaches of many of our teachers.

We had an inter-class English competition which sees us most united. I was director and scriptwriter, we had a full fledged team till we exploded our budget and failed in our large numbers of props. It was heart-wrenching and some even cried. Then we ode to joy with Domino's and a dose of camwhoring at the end. What a way to accept our grief.

And since I don't do homework (Guilty as charged.), especially Add Maths cause though people with musical abilities should be able to solve problems creatively, I just can't solve them cause my brain sees Maths as logic, not something that I can do creatively. I can watch Numb3rs but ask me to solve differential equations I probably balked. Then again, I am just plain lazy. So, there goes the sisterhood of travelling maths homework. My sisterhood sends them to me and I plagiarise. Then again, you can never really plagiarise Maths, cause the solution is about the same.

PE is the guys' favorite time because they get to join classes with the other Chipsmore clan. Those others are way more 'ferocious' than the ones in my class because they are notorious and infamous for what they do. They are the best in their profession. So, we have a few guys who could use a shower and deodorant (I am so ever serious.) at the end of the day that hangs all their 'eau de toilette'-filled clothes at the window sill, sometimes even their underwear...

This is my class life. We have the good, the bad, the ugly and the kiasu. It's what makes the Cengalians year 2003 unique as it is.

Next: CF Life in 2003.

Wednesday

Pre-The Sisterhood of Travelling Maths Homework

Right now, I am on the roller coaster ride of my life. Suddenly get cold feet syndrome which I feel like strangling myself...or just do a handstand to let all blood flow to my brain and let it rush and like Dilbert comics...the head could just explode. Alright, I am so ever digressing.

Well, I can't wait to start my classes to see my ability to not yawn in a 4-person gathering of media students. I could just be the center of attention for causing a yawn-wave which I might just get money out of it.

Alright, my brain's not focusing. It's thinking sarcasm but giving lame statements.

Someone thinks I am more than friends with somebody..which I don't even know who is it. Yes, I am a sad loner, but at least I know how to rub shoes with lecturers.

OOH...and I hope for a great birthday gift from ****. Muahaha...but it might happen ten years later. So no point. No, it's not you who are reading this.

And suddenly I am younger than Jame Boy. Okay, I don't call him that, but if I state the too obvious, the person might just get tad bit upset at me.

Gah, I am stuck in the realm of intellectual boys and brainy chicks. At least the comfort is that my pseudo nephew is there to tell lame jokes to me. If not, I might have to clone one Dong out. Ha.

Sunday

Summer Live

Just finished watching yet another Korean drama 'To Marry A Millionaire'...yes, by finished means FINISHED...thanks to YouTube...though it's a real horror to wait and wait and wait but always use tabs or windows...

Another typical Korean series, except this had more kissing (not exactly the one looooong type which Sherry so ever can't stand) and less crying. Well, at least the guy don't cry unlike Stairway To Heaven. But yes, it's yet another typical series...so I won't go into details about it...nobody died, that's a relief...not really a tearjerker though some parts quite moving..but it's DRAMATIC...it's FAKE. It's DRAMA...makes it oh-love-can-conquer-every-problem-and-we-will-be-together-for-the-rest-of-our-lives-though-it's-hard-I-will-change-for-you-because-I-love-you-and-we-are-tired-but-we-still-sarang-each-other...that kinda plot.

Okay...

Guess what?? I am finally starting my uni in a day and few more hours...ah..the finality of it sounds so...grande. So I must be the best I can..will blog more about my uni life from time to time...I guess that's the only thing I'll be blogging about because I can't really talk anymore errm...bimbotic stuff like Taiwan/Korean dramas or Taiwan/Korean stars...or even Malaysian stars for a while...cause study comes first. Besides, as I've said, I have finished watching the Korean drama which is just started to be on air on Astro AEC...ahahahahha...I am impatient when it comes to these...like Prince Turn Frog thingie...but that's another story.

So allow me to be Entertainment updating a bit.

Yesterday night, was the 8TV Summer live concert, which though it was good, but proved tad bit disappointing and unfair. People like Energy, Lin Yu Zhong (What is his english name??) and local stars should have the fair amount of songs to sing...I mean, I am alright with the international ones taking center stage because if you just ask them to sing one song when they purposely fly here for the concert...a bit duh lerr...cause local stars can always fly to Danga Bay whenever they want to...cause it's still home ground..but international stars especially Jang Nara will have to sing in her own country and fit a geographically-relatively-similar place into her plans ...a place I doubt she knows anything about except her shows were aired here before..hardy har har.

So, let me see...I didn't get to watch 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm...which Energy sang...and Lin Yu Zhong sang...and who else? THen there is the guy from 8TV Travel show...I can't remember the show but he's a host lah. Yeah, he acted in the Iced Latte advertisment with Marion and someone.

But anywayz...so then the show went on with the local stars like Daniel Lee and the Superstars with one two songs to boot. After that, there was Nicholas Teo singing 4 songs...one from his show in Taiwan which will be aired in Malaysia...like...dunno when. Even Daniel only sang 2. Hardy har har.

Then there is Gary Cao Ge with his Jasmine Flower song-which-I-so-hate, Landy, Jang Nara...which I think the Koreans staying in Malaysia should go and support her a bit more...cause really, though people screamed and yelled during the concert, I doubt they understood her really, except when she says "Ahn nyung ha se yo" and singing "sarang..."...I for one, didn't understand her fully cause I am not Korean. I watch Korean shows with subtitles or those irritating dubbings. But she definitely could have done more with the support from her compatriots. But not bad, she delivered 3 songs, one in Chinese...hahaha..I am serious. She should have sang "Tian Mi Mi" or "Quan Shi Jie Xia Yu".

Then after Jang Nara, there's the Gary from 8TV Entertainment News...and then who else?

Justin from Hong Kong, the guy who refuses to takes off his cap. Wonder why. When he sang, there was a music technical disorder which I think might have upset the bosses of 8TV. Especially Mr. CEO which I cannot remember his name. Bleh. But that was the starting of a song so it's still alright.

Rainie Yang who didn't sing her Celebration song...but she sang some few songs...4 I think...why so many. I don't understand.

Then the most celebrated guest sang...even the host was saying "You all must have been waiting for so long yeah??" *drumroll..JJ Lin who Sherry spazzed a bit in her recent post about she being aunty. (Lazy to link..so go to her site yourself) and he sang what...3 songs?! And Rainie sang 4...what...

But I am very glad he sang "Sa rang hae yo" cause it's a nice song to me. Ha. He even asked a girl from the audience to be his "girlfriend" while he sang that song...held her hand and walked up and down the stage...she must be so flattered...and she may just not wash her hand ever again...XD ...but JJ didn't dance..at all. What.

Then came 5566 without Grace's favorite Sun Xie Zhi...I am like...what. Last time I watched 5566 on Blackie's, don't have Shao Wei got Xie Zhi. Now got Shao Wei no Xie Zhi. It's like S.H.E having a concert and not having Ella, the short hair one. Xie Zhi's fans must be so so crushed. Oh well...this is my first time seeing a group having concert without the full band.

As I've said, unfair and disappointing a bit. At least it is better than last year's which was even weirder. But they can always improve. Just don't put Lee Hom, Jay Chou and Wilbur together though...too much hip hop and rap.

Celcom went to great lengths when they have Lee Hom and JJ in their ads. :) Nice. JJ got slapped even which looks so drama again.

Next big things...Eason Chen's concert in two weeks to come...and Michael Guang Liang's concert in September...

And yes, you might just be able to watch our very own Malaysian Guang Liang singing in his concert.

And the same time I watch the concert, I was also watching Kangta & Vanness's Scandal TV Special...Vanness finally looked less F4-ish. Gosh, I still get nightmares seeing him in long hair...silky straight long hair somemore!! Now he got the bad-boy attitude. Sigh.

Alright. Sorrylerr, just bear with me. This may just be the last entertainment news...unless some big star comes to my uni, then it's another thing. Bwah.

And yes, Taiwan scriptwriters must come out with better plots. Korean scriptwriters should try something different than typical. Maybe the two lovers never got together in the end. Ha. Well, both can try at least instilling more practical values...like guys must always learn how to fight because it will be useful next time, especially when you don't pay for a service...or at least wear really really thick clothes to protect your back when people hit you with sticks. And girls, make sure you have a hankie/tissue present when the guy gets hit with sticks but managed to only bleed a bit at the mouth. Then again, you may just find the police station, the model agency, the place where your boyfriend the triad member would come and save you when you get kidnapped and the hospital all in the same place at the same floor. Ooh, did I laugh at that observation.

Thursday

My Mommy Says...And What Else.

Warning: This is a very....bimbotic post.

..

Yesterday, my mom and I were watching Azio Fashion which also means Azio Entertainment News...but anyway, it doesn't matter what name they come in, as long it is about the Taiwan Entertainment Industry...so we saw a few people and saw Lee Hom...and this is what my mummy said. (I am so not kidding.) It's random but she said it anyway.

帅哥挑战!

Lee Hom vs. Ming Dao

On the left is none-other-than Wang Lee Hom, heartthrob, hip-hop king of Taiwan (should be Wilbur instead but oh well.), music prodigy, Chai Kun's most *heart celeb.

On the right is none-other-than Matthew Ming Dao, heartthrob, drama "prince" (acted in Prince Turn Frog which I blogged about, Magicians of Love, Wedding Gown of Heaven...), 183 Club member, not my most *heart celeb. He just can act and sing and dance...though they must come up with better, more real plots than a supposedly HongKong gang member migrant who can't speak Cantonese well at all. Oh, did that make me laugh like anything. Sherry is consoled after all. :)

So, what did mummy say?

Verdict:
Sorry, Matthew, you lose to Lee Hom in terms of good-lookingness. You are still good-looking yes but Lee Hom wins hands down. (There is another word my mom used but let's be kind to Ming Dao's fans.)

My verdict?
Lee Hom is American-Born product, so somehow definitely better looking. But both can act, can sing, can dance, and both are models too..so good enough lerr..If I say anymore, this post will turn even more bimbotic than ever. But they shouldn't be even compared in the first place. Cause so different. Besides, Ming Dao is kinda those who grows on you...the more you see of him, you may think of him as good-looking...or otherwise. Lee Hom is like, whoa, he's good-looking at first glance. :) SO yeah.
But I raise both hands to Ming Dao and Sam (Shao Wei) from 5566/183 compared to F4. Haha. Both of them can definitely act better than Meteor Garden guys. Sorry F4 fans. I just have to criticise a bit. Vaness is alright though...after he chops off his hair for a shorter hairdo like in his new Scandal album.

So, Lee Hom wins...according to my mummy. My sister, Chai Kun and Li Qin must be so happy....

.

..

.

But of course, she still thinks Tik is the best looking guy. Muahahaha... but he's Thai, so that doesn't add up. I still like him best in his The Princess story.

Yes..end of Bimbotic Post.

If I Can Ask You One Thing.

Looking back at my archives and all the titles I have titled my blog entries. Can write script liao.

My aunt called me to go ice-skating in Sunway Pyramid...I am like..eh, I don't know how to skate. And I needed to clean the house so didn't go. Ah...suddenly filled with imagination...like Korean drama!!

If I can ask guys one question for now...I would want to ask...

Do guys really fight, punch each other...for whatever reasons...??

Cause I don't see my guy friends waving their fist at any guy they don't like. Maybe it's just me. But guys, c'mon, answer this question. :)

Cause guys in drama always hit each other. Yes, for whatever reason possible. Girls, money, company, betrayal...whatever. So, in real life...do guys really hit each other?
