Since there is no Korean dramas now, I've been watching Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore dramas...hehehe...from one to the other...
Sigh...I get to watch The Legend of the Arching Hero (射雕英雄传) again as it screens on 8TV. Again, I like the shows because of the soundtrack. Currently listening to a famous soundtrack: 梅花三弄. Shows penned by the writer, Chong Yao...typical Taiwan soap operas..
Today I tried my hand at 5th gear. The first time I tried it, the car rattled, maybe I was going too slow..hehehehe...but the second time I managed, and I never reached home faster. Hehehe...Yes, though I like to drive slow, but somehow today, I don't mind the speed.
If you can read Chinese, this song is the ending song for the Legend of the Arching Hero. I watched the 2003 China version. I quite like the show, especially the love story between the main actor and actress. The girl is smart and I believe she played her part well, so did the guy, he acts as a very naive, innocent, what people call dumb. But he loves his beloved very much...hehehe...based on a novel too...

Brunch And Rainy Days
If they say that God don't answer prayers, I beg to differ. He does, in His own timing. Put yourself in His position. If someone gives a very selfish prayer to you, will you answer it? And since you're GOD, you should know which and when is best for that person...you better do. If not, what kind of God are you?

On Saturday evening, we had a prayer walk around the SEA Park area. So I walked with a bunch of CG members of mine and we went-a-walking and passing flyers. We don't pass flyers for fun.
As we were just walking along the row of houses, all kinds of dogs started barking at us. One member of mine, was laughing at them, yet he's scared at the same time. Oh well...
Am reading Sherlock Holmes Complete Fascimile Edition. He is just so cool...okay, so what if he's a fiction? He has this power to detach his mind...he gives his best on what he's doing, he can focus on other things so well..in other words, he's a genius!...While then, all my other friends are having a slight craze over Nicholas Sparks' books.
Just received a mail from Planet Shakers. They even supply a registration number for me. I feel so...numbery...
Had brunch at Kayu Nasi Kandar today with Carissa and Christine. This morning I tried to wake up at nine, but its hopeless. Striving to wake up so I can prepare myself before Carissa come and pick me up. I had the 'priviledge' sitting in her Atos and I enjoyed the view perfectly. As I say, I like tall cars.
Couldn't park my car properly yesterday. Phoebe came and asked, "Eh, you got licence one ah?" Which I answered good humouredly, "Then? Cannot see the 'P' ah?" Hmm...but quite embarrassing that I couldn't park the car properly. I got to drive more frequently at night. If not, I might just convince myself that I have night blindness. BUT...I'm not blind. I can drive perfectly well during rainiest days which I just accomplished this afternoon. I can also say that I enjoy driving in the rain. Sigh...
Yesterday traffic was just horrid. Absolutely intolerable. I had to depress my clutch and brake in sudden times because the car in front of me did the same. Thank God that I managed to turn my head straight and stop the car. Why did I ever distract myself was another thing. One car beside me wasn't so fortunate to be aware. He/She crashed into the car in front. There goes the engine...Thank God He turned my head just in time to stop, if not, I'll bang into the car in front of me too...distraction can be so fatal sometimes.
I had a really weird dream, but of course I will speak no more. Only three people knew about it. Then again, I don't even recall if that was a dream or did I really experienced it. Sigh, if that dream do come true, that would be nice.
Okay, I gotta really stop procrastinating. Goodness, I haven't even finish revising my studies...BLEH...how am I gonna get good results for my exams? Argh...

Dilemma
This is what happen when you are in a dilemma.
Looking through all the faculties in University Malaya and Universiti Pendidikan Malaysia, I could conclude to very little answers. Apparently, UM especially offers what I want or what I think I want.
It's difficult especially when you're a science and arts person. This phrase keep on ringing: "Be the jack of all trades." But the ending goes, "And master of none."
Yeah sure, if the trades comes free. Nowadays, we have to stick to one course for a while, study all we can, earn all we can, then start somewhere else with our own money. Not that I mind...its whether all these will amount to anything.
Gosh...I'm still that small little girl that goes by the Chinese saying, "Five minutes hot." It meant that I can't keep to one thing forever. Of course it will be nice to jump from job to job and la da dee...but I still like routines. Changes make me a little nervous...
Sigh...five career choices seemed too much whereas one seemed too little.
Was hoping to talk to someone online but unfortunately, that person is busy. Sigh...
Had my mind on a friend today...hehe...just suddenly thought about it. It's so weird...
Oh well...just to splurt my dilemmas...
Must control my mind...

Football Fans - Listen Up!
My friend, Jonathan Tan wrote this in his blog. Footballers, pay attention.
This is not an original insight. This was from my friend, Jack Ng and I'm just elaborating on it.
In football (soccer to Americans) one key tactic is for a midfielder to kick a "long ball" from midfield right up to near the opposing team's goal, hoping that a striker will be perfectly placed to "finish" the ball. Now, because of the offside rule, the striker can only run into position after the midfielder has kicked the ball. Before the ball is kicked, he must make sure there are at least two people between himself and the baseline (the goalkeeper being one of them).
Similarly we as Christians need the patience not to run too far ahead before God has "kicked the ball", so to speak. We often go too fast, placing ourselves in an offside position when God hasn't moved yet. We need to watch and wait. Footballers do this to precision on the field, why can't we do this as well in our own walk with God?
So we have a new term for going ahead of God's timing...being offside.

You Belong To Me...Events That Happened Today
Currently reading: Mary Higgins Clark - You Belong To Me
I feel as if I am sitting in an oven.
This morning though I set my alarm at 8, I woke up at 10:15 a.m. Thank God Christine was trying to call me. If not, I would be sleeping my head off till 12!
At first I thought that it was Monday. Rolling on my bed, I subconciously mumbled (got such thing wan ah?), "Aiyah, who cares about the phone..." I do ignore phone calls when I'm asleep. Hehe..
It's not until I look at my clock and it finally dawned upon me like a smack on my head, that I realise "OH NO!!!" I'm gonna be so so so late!
My fax phone rang. Silly phone. It rings way after the caller started hearing the 'toot toot' sound. In other words, the phone has a slow reaction. Doesn't go along with Newton's Third Law of Gravity. So I never got a chance to hear who was the caller, since after the caller place the phone down, the silly phone is still ringing.
Finally, got hold of Christine and rush rush rush, ended up in church about 10:40 plus plus. Carissa, who was fetching me, must have been reaching 80-90 km/hr. Not fast enough for some really weird guys who like to speed. We quickly set up the registration table for camp and just felt odd. Or rather, I am the one feeling odd. Maybe its got to do with me being groggy.
Today at 11 o clock morning service, they had a 'baptism time'. So, we watch as one by one, some known, some unknown get baptised by the reverend. It was quite fun to see one group of 'supporters' actually stood up with styrofoam stuck with '10' written bold on a paper. Like those judges...hehehe...
After that, we sat outside and talk talk talk...Daniel Yap Jr and Alicia was studying for Physics paper due Tuesday. Siu Fai looks sleepy, as usual. Malvin busy with his stuff...Vanessa, Christine and Maureen went 'yam cha' (have tea) opposite the church. Carissa? She disappeared into the sanctuary to play with her niece. Hehe...aunty aunty.
There was one event which shook me a little. It proves that I can never become a doctor. Not that I really want to be one anyway. There was one person, she became a victim of a snatch thief. (Crime rates are going to be hilarious sooner or later, gosh.) So she hit her head and blood dripped as a couple of men carried her into the medical room (not bad huh? Church also got medical room..) Later, my dad, with his usual generosity, sent her to the hospital. So scary...later in the afternoon I had a dream bout snatch thieves. I think we should create a bag that can trigger electric shock. A tiny line attached to the bearer's ring and to a shocker. When the bag gets snatched away, the line will snap. Like a live wire exposed, the shocker will be triggered and 'pada ping pada poom', "bzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttttttttttttttt........." shock the thief and he may lose control of his motorbike. Then again, it might not have any effect on that fella if he's used to it or the bag is fully leather....must improvise lah.
Sat in Carissa's car as she and Felix talked all the way to 1U. I didn't dare to butt in cause I won't want to disrupt the conversation and appear rude. Sometimes I did, but it felt really odd. Hoped that someone else was sitting next to me and I won't need to feel as if I'm out of place. Though I learn somethings slightly interesting by just listening to them. Still, I felt like some outsider in the car...at least if I drive my own car I can talk to myself. Hehehe...
Ate lunch at Jusco Arena at 1U cause Carissa's mom has a stall there selling western food. It's under Potato House...so people, if you feel hungry, go to Arena. The food not there not bad what...I ate lasagne. Gosh, it feels so embarassing when I can't pronounce 'lasagne'. Bought an ice blended vanilla tea, though for me it taste exactly like tea, Carissa said she tasted vanilla. Oh well, she must have sucked up all the vanilla there is. Hehe...I found out that Carissa and I have one thing in common: We despise chocolate ice cream! Hahaha...chocolate is fine. Chocolate ice cream? It taste so weird...
Came back home, slept. Still nursing a mosquito-bitten wound at my tapak kaki. (sole) Started reading Clark's book.
Ate dinner and now typing this. Still seeing those dastardly flies flying around. Argh, so pretty irritating.
Yesterday I shot out a word 'bloody' as I was attacked by mosquitos. Yes, it may be that it suits the situations but that is such a wrong word for me to say...sigh...sometimes the tongue can be so deadly...sigh...

This is the MOST chilling movie ever produced by Korea. Whew, I just need to watch the trailer to have my heart nearly shot out.
This is a story of war, of brotherhood, of honour...I can say from the trailer itself...WOW! Why is it they don't show it in Malaysia?
This is a really deserve-to-watch movie cause its not soapy...but if you hate war stories, better not. This is like the American war movies (minus all the overboard love story)...gosh, I can cry watching the trailer itself.
And girls, Won Bin and Jang Dong Gun is acting in it...hehehe....
Heart-wrenching...just heart wrenching...may be boring for those who like soapy stuff...but there's the two good-looking guys...maybe you should stay...but seriously...this is what I call a value show..

Soap Operas
Ahn nyung ha se yong!
I remember one quote from 'My Sassy Girl': "Korean like soapy dramas." I couldn't agree more. Hehehe...sometimes I do like them, though I don't cry every episode, except for Autumn In My Heart.
Even so, sometimes they tend to get a little draggy and it goes round and round the plot like a carousel.
Take for example, 'Stairway to Heaven'. I'm not saying that its horrible. It's fine. A typical Korean soap drama. The story could be better though. Song Joo (Kwon Sang Woo) need not be so violent.
Sherry once said that she despise the picture of Korean girls being submissive and weak. Haha, Sherry wants to be the dominant one, eh?
I like Korean dramas because of 2 things: 1, scenery. 2, soundtrack. Bother not if the story drags. Their soundtracks are really nice. I know for sure that those with tragic endings, endless weeping have really mellow and sad songs, vice versa. (dUh...)
Nevertheless, I enjoy soap operas. Like 'The Princess' from Thailand starring Tik Jessadaporn...hehehe, and I also like Korean dramas and movies...not Taiwan though...Meteor Garden is...totally out. The 'Chong Yao' stories like Ghost Husband, Green Grass By The River...those are not so bad.
Stairway to Heaven finished day before yesterday though I didn't watch the last part of the show anymore...not even the part they cook spaghetti together...OH WELL...I just know how the girl died...
Something for those Korean drama fans...this is the Stairway to Heaven video clip..Guys, I know, its a little bimbotic and chick stuff here...but some do like soap operas... :)

This is the one with the guy who sang the song...Hey, I said the song was nice... :)
http://kimbumsoo.co.kr/cgi-bin/technote/board/data/upfile/bsk_sbs_040321.asf
Sigh...should stop watching all these soapy stuff for a while. I'm currently watching The 'W' Files...cause it have one of my favorite character: Wisely (His Chinese name is so much better)...science fiction stuff...Hong Kong drama...TVB stuff...
Okay, those don't understand what in the world I am saying...never mind...hehehe....
Anyway, soap operas remind me of the one in Sleepless in Seattle.
I'm currently feeling odd. I've been feeling odd nowadays...hehe...
I need to start studying again. Slack too much already...sigh...
Oh yeah, Joanne said bout story...I have one in mind...but wait lah....inspiration come late nowadays...I don't want to write another short love story with broken hearts...too many of those makes me feel sick of them...I should really write one story where there's no romance involved at ALL...no girls no guys...just plain old motherhood...hahahahahha...
And I agree with Sherry..The brother is much better than Song Joo...he sacrificed so much for Jing Soo. And to tell you the truth, the brother look much better in real life...
Stairway to Heaven - Shin Hyun Joon and Choi Ji Woo
Stairway to Heaven - Shin Hyun Joon, Choi Ji Woo, Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Tae Hee
Successful Story Of A Bright Girl - Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara
Autumn In My Heart - Song Hae Gyo and Wonbin
My Love Patzzi - Heung Eun Heui, Kim Jae Won, Jang Nara and Kim Rae Won
Hotelier - Bae Yong Joon and Song Yun Ah
My Sassy Girl - Cha Tae Hyun and Jeon Ji-Hyun
I think that's about all the dramas I've watched so far... not bad huh? My record...hehehe...that's only the Korean ones..hahahahah....all are great shows...okay, maybe not all...hehehe

Really great album. Go to www.canaanland.com.my if you are a Malaysian. If you are an Australian, why bother looking at me? Planet Shakers can be found in everywhere in Australia! If you are overseas, go to www.goldenusa.com
Well, I can only tell you the songs here are really good, you can find out for yourselves if you read this blog really soon. My favorite is Running After You, All That I Want, Here I Am, Could I Ever and Rain Down...actually I like every song. I can say that Planet Shakers will always have the atmosphere of worship in their CDs. Their song, "How I Love You" was the song that comforted my nerves when I was in a singing competition's finals. And their lyrics, especially the slow, worship songs, are really meaningful. Very realistic and practical. Something like I would love. Like a song I would write. Just very real.
Whatcha waiting for? Get that album! Eh, the ORIGINAL one...don't burn burn burn...
Mine's original, got the hologram sticker one.

The Dwelling of Joy In Fact Brings Joy!
Hum.......Hum.........Hum......
The ongoing distant traffic passed by indisctinctly. Every few minutes, you could hear the 'pop' of vehicle tyres. Makes it sound as if the tyre went flat, yet the saloons, MPVs and every other kind of automobile went on their way, oblivious to the sound. My sister said it was fireworks.
How I wish I can get a laptop just like my sister. It would be nice to sit by the window and just type out my thoughts and meditations, without having to worry about the big white/black squarish/oblong shaped monitor blocking your view. Besides, laptop is portable.
During this time when I am free...(I am not suppose to be free), it kinda make me think a little. I need to plan my time cause I still need to study. Form 6's life isn't suppose to be all fun and freedom. Then again, it's not suppose to be devoid of fun too.
Yet so, I am sitting down in front of the laptop, with my back and leg still aching (which I do wish for some swimming exercise to relieve the pain, but I could not do so due to the odd hours I wake up and the odd moods.), I do wish for some good organiser and strict discipline so that I will do what I want to do.
The only words I can only say in utter ignorance : La la. (quick, without any space. Say it with pure 'selamba'ness)
I remember one pastor from Singapore once spoke about Finding Your Life Partner. His words are so hilarious, I still can remember most of his jokes. Though one thing he said was quite profound: When a father is overseas working, as he looks upon a toy at a toy shop display window, he would think about his child. He would think on how the child would respond with delight if he gave his child that toy. And that fact that he was dwelling on the joyous expression of the child gives him JOY!
At least, he said something like that.
If this blog can understand Chinese I would be glad to write some things in Chinese. Unfortunately, it can't even read Korean. Bummer. Then again, it's not like as if I can read Korean. ahn nyeong ha seh yo? (hello?)

Part 2 of My House
People, don't be offended...I just shifted in. So its just itchy hand. DOn't call me a show off...
Peep through the door hole, who's that at the door? Peep through the door hole, who's that at the door? Oh, it's the postman, ah, there's the milkman too...
Fire extinguisher. My dad believes in preparing the umbrella before it rains. Sediakan payung sebelum hujan.
Nyam! Nyam! Muahahhaha...not much food now though...yoghurt anyone?
This is for now one of the shortest ways to get out and into my house area. Hmm...floods though when it rains heavily non-stop. It had reached half thigh deep before. I still remember my mom's car plate fell off just because she went through the flood. Even LDP was flooding..boy. Worst flash flood I've seen.
Let me see...this is where I ruined my ball point pen which costs RM2...sigh...shouldn't have burn the pen.
This is where the fire starts. Nice angle eh?
Behind this door you can see my bedroom...the sun was quite bright then. Oh...forgot to mention. Shower partition.
Should enlarge this. Mirror effect...
Yawn...I still got so many to go on...bleh. Part 3...

Pictures From Home (Part 1)
Hmm...it sounds as if I have left home a long time. NOT!!
Since I have always love to take pictures, and hand itchy to take pictures all the time...so I went around taking pictures of my house..of course not the whole house. Next time I'll give a site view?
Takes quite a long time to upload though..hehe...sorry lah..camera is 3.2 megapixel, so I thumbnailed it...if you want it bigger, click on Enlarge lah...I guess...
This is sunset from my room. My room faces west. So I get to watch sunsets..if I want to, that is.
This is another one. Same day. Same sunset. Slightly different time.
This is one of my favorite figurines at home. Bought it for a quite cheap price at Hong Kong. Eh, if I ever ever get rich, I might consider collecting ballerina figurines. Don't know why. Just like them.
This is another one. Had my eyes on her...don't know why I like her so...my mom and sister said that the former one looks prettier...
This was something my friend gave me for my birthday present. Thanks Erin! So darlin'.
One of the fans at home. Five blades. Cool huh?
The 3rd floor swimming pool. With gym and restrooms and BBQ area.
I stay opposite LRT Depot. So at night can hear the creaks and whatnots...its not so bad. Cause I usually slept through all of them!
Just for kicks. Hehe...
