Well, as many of the BOF fans would know, that boy can sing and play the piano as well. Quite impressive for a relatively fresh actor.

And his voice, though need to control a bit more when reaching high notes, is totally different from how you see him in BOF.

If you didn't know this is Kim Bum, you would really think that it was a professional balladeer like Jo Sung Mo. I love his deep chest voice in the verses which also gets a little airy, like he's sighing.
One thing about actors-singers is that if they are good actors, they are able to convey those deep emotions in a song, bringing the nuances of the song to life, which I think Kim Bum does well. (That's why in Cantopop, many actors crossover to be singers and receive fan acclaim, but aren't necessarily great singers, with exception of people like Eason Chen who are great in both, imo).

Sorry if it's wrong. I took the gist and I'm not even sure if the gist is correct! Korean songs tend to stray away a bit from conventional grammar I think. So I'm not sure if the one whole sentence is suppose to be one whole sentence or two sentences. Though the song has inflections and pauses but Korean melodies and lyrics often don't sync, imo. But that makes Korean songs really nice cause it fits perfectly without needing to cram or having too much pauses in between.
Okay, I'm done. Have repeated that song for more than 10 times while doing this translation work. Shows how bad my Korean is. But Kim Bum's voice is beautiful. The very small nitpicking regarding his less of control on rounding up the higher notes is forgivable. You just skimp over it.
